Casa Buffa and its garden

Casa Buffa is an old villa in Costa di Cumiana, a silent village placed 20km from Turin. Its quiet and isolated garden is a place for relax but also a perfect starting point for many destinations in the western part of Piedmont. Casa Buffa is also a few kilometers away from the zoological bio-park Zoom Torino, a fast growing attraction for kids and their parents. Casa Buffa, even if provided with modern services, is an old and fascinating villa which dates back the the Eighteen Century and was inhabited in the '800 and since the beginning of '900 by a priest, great-uncle of the current owners. Maybe this is one of the reasons why the internal and external spaces of the house are extremely quiet, almost "conventual" even if comfortable. The villa has a little private chapel an in front it a meadow leads to a small lively creek. The small area of the big oven and the large vegeteble garden are other protected places where you will be able to rest, relax and meditate. Casa Buffa has three rooms available: one triple with private bathroom, one double and one single with bath. All of them can be booked separately. An additional bed can be added to the triple room for families. Guest will be able to taste the quiet atmosphere of the garden or the coolness of the dining room. The externals offer wide fenced spaces which can suit also children. In front of the main entrance a free parking is available. We will be not always present during your stay, but our neighbours Rinuccia and Giancarlo will be happy to give you any help and advice in order to make your stay very pleasant. IT IS ADVISABLE TO HAVE YOUR OWN CAR/MOTORBIKE AT CASA BUFFA. The bus will bring you to Turin or Pinerolo, from were you will be able to go almost everywhere, but the bus stop is 2,5 Km from the house and the way to go back home is uphill. The train station of Piscina is 10 km from Casa Buffa. The International Airport of Torino Caselle is 40km from the villa. A very exciting place for children is The Bio Zoo Park "Bioparco Zoom Torino" , 7 km away, just 9 minutes drive. There are a few small restaurants/trattorie/pizzerie for both lunch and dinner which can be easily reached in Cumiana, 2-3 km from Casa Buffa. There are also a few very good restaurants in the surroundings of Cumiana. Breakfast is NOT included, but it can be arranged in-house and served into the quiet garden or in the dining room. We will be happy to give you more details, please ask. A barbecue is available for your summer dinners in the garden. Parking is easily available just in front of Casa Buffa.
