Unique Private B & B Ross-on-Wye

Just footsteps from the Wye Valley footpath in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside a few miles from Ross-on-Wye you'll find our King Size Garden room available for your own exclusive use complete with lounge/ dining area & luxury shower. The Rock B&B garden room is approx. 30 square metres with glorious countryside views. It has everything we'd like for a country break: comfy sofa, hot showers, fridge for chilling wine, comfy king size bed with cotton sheets, hairdryer, toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, travel cot for a little one! Breakfast served in the suite. Please note there is a small fridge, kettle, tea, coffee etc but no cooking facilities.. As well as private use of our Garden suite you're more than welcome to use our patio and barbecue in addition to the seating area outside the suite. Perhaps we should let you know that there a few steps up to the accommodation (the price we pay for a terrific view!) We love travelling and meeting new people and will be very happy to help you during your stay. We're on the Wye Valley footpath so if you need a lift to points along the walk we'd be happy to oblige. We'll be your taxi to nearby restaurants should you wish as well for a reasonable cost. As locals here we'll recommend some great places to visit and guide you towards great walks around the area. The Wye Valley ANOB is a great place to visit, walks, churches, pubs, & attractions abound. The towns of Ross on Wye and Monmouth are close by and worth a visit & further afield you'll find Hereford and its glorious cathedral, Gloucester & the spa town of Cheltenham. The Forest of Dean is only a few miles away and offers great cycling and walking opportunities and Go-Ape. We're actually steps away from the Wye Valley Footpath and the Offas Dyke path is close by. All in all it's a fascinating and virtually unspoilt part of the country to visit. There's a local pub called The Mill Race that's only a short but steep walk away! We highly recommend The Saracens Head at Symonds Yat East and Three in Ross-on-wye for dining at most 10 mins drive away. Have a look at the super images of the immediate environment on 'images of Ross-on-Wye ' on that well known social media site! This is not really the place for public transport as we're pretty rural, being approx. 3 miles from Ross on Wye so we'd recommend your own transport. However, if you'd like taxiing from bus/train stations. we're happy to look into this for you or even do it ourselves! We can make up either two single beds or one huge super king - your choice! There aren't cooking facilities in the room but breakfasts of your choice are served in the suite each morning. One well behaved and friendly dog is very welcome.
