Beautiful south facing chalet with 5 large bedrooms, swimming pool, sauna and large garden in peaceful countryside overlooking the lovely Giffre valley. A few minutes from great skiing, lots of activities and the village of Mieussy. 50 mins from Geneva. Close to 3 ski resorts: - Praz de Lys-Sommand (10 mins) - Morillon & Grand Massif (20 mins) - Les Gets & Portes du Soleil (25 mins) Outside the ski season hiking, cycling, parapente, rafting and canyoning are nearby. The chalet is on 3 levels, with all bedrooms and living spaces facing south for maximum sunshine and open views of the surrounding countryside. OUTSIDE For outside living, there are: - 2 large, decked terrace areas with garden furniture - Swimming pool (open from May to Sep) surrounded by loungers - BBQ - Large garden with beautiful plants - Children's play area. Inside, the accommodation includes: ENTRY LEVEL - Large open plan living room with log fireplace, comfortable seating, TV and DVD player - Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, induction hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, Nespresso machine. Fully equipped with all cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery - Dining area with seating for 10 around a lovely square table - Sliding windows which open on to the breakfast terrace and provide access to the pool - A double bedroom (bed 160cm x 200cm) with storage and TV - Large shower room with WC - Separate guest WC LOWER LEVEL - A large double room (bed 150cm x 200cm) with storage, TV and direct access to the lower terrace and the garden - Children's room with bunk beds & one single with storage, TV and direct access to the lower terrace and the garden - Sauna - Shower room - Separate WC - Laundry area UPPER LEVEL - A double bedroom (bed 160cm x 200cm) with storage and access to balcony - A twin bedroom with storage and access to balcony - Bathroom with bath and WC - Mezzanine corner with sofa, TV and games. An travel cot can be provided if needed. A high chair is available. Ski boot driers for 10 pairs of boots are in the garage. Linen and towels are provided. End of stay cleaning is additional - €150. Wifi is available There is a selection of books, games, pool toys, sledges available for use. PARKING Outside, there is parking for 2 cars in the carport / in front of the entrance to the chalet. This is a private, self contained chalet with its own private garden. Guests have full use of the property and pool to themselves. There is a book that has details of local activities, recommended places to eat, attractions and instructions on how to use the appliances. The nearby village of Mieussy with bakery, bar and restaurant is less than 2km from the chalet. The Chalet is perfectly located for winter and summer activities and for exploring the beautiful countryside of the Haute Savoie and the Giffre Valley. A car is needed, however there is a ski bus which stops at the end of the road during the ski season. There's a security cover on the pool which must be used for your safety and to comply with French regulations.
