Totally renovated classic 1950s casita in the village of Tularosa, New Mexico near White Sands and Three Rivers Petroglyphs. This charming and rural village retreat comes with internet, central heat and cooling and all utilities. A acequia runs in the front and the back is a stunning view of mountain sunrises. This is the real deal. It is a rustic setting and a classic adobe. Several fruit trees shade the front yard, and there are large pines. The perfect get away, but close enough to amazing locations such as White Sands, Three Rivers Petroglyphs, Cloudcroft, Ruidoso and Ski Apache. Convenient 1.5 hour drive from El Paso and a 3.5 hours to Santa Fe through the most scenic Western landscapes you will ever encounter. Should you wish to go carless, the grocery store is a short walk away. Need a car? A rental car agency in Alamogordo can pick you up. Lots of privacy; close enough in to hear the church bells ring at 11:00 and the train whistles at night. The village sponsors regional events such as the Tularosa Wine Festival.
