Camp Van Winkle is a newly renovated Cozy Catskills Chalet just a two hours drive from NYC. This is the perfect space for a small family or 3 couples to enjoy. The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Chalet is cozy, just about 1000 square feet, the open floor plan brings everyone together in a wonderful way. What If I Need to Work? Camp Van Winkle is a place to relax! Yet, when you need to work, we have high speed, reliable WIFI (400/25) for your use! No worries-you can get away from it all and stay connected at the same time. :) THE KITCHEN Fully equipped with a bar area seating 4 and is open to the dining room and the family room. Our kitchen is supplied with coffee, tea and filters. OUT DOOR SCENE Outside we created relaxing seating areas in several locations. ~Backyard in ground fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs/Firewood Supplied. ~Brand New Hot Tub ~A Deck with a Cozy warm fire table, romantic rope lights and 4 comfy Adirondack chairs. ~Weber propane grill ready for your BBQ needs. (Propane Provided) Grab a glass of wine and enjoy those cool nights and bright stars! In front of the chalet, enjoy your coffee in one of our rockers. LOCATION Camp Van Winkle sits on an acre of land that is both private yet only minutes from the town of Tannersville and only 2 miles from Hunter ski resort. We are also surrounded by some of the most spectacular hiking trials and waterfalls in the Catskills. ~Tannersville Huckleberry Multi-use trail! This 2.7 mile trail is perfect for biking, walking and cross-country skiing. ~5 minutes from Hunter Ski Resort ~20 minutes from Windham Ski Resort ~3 minutes from Colorful Tannersville and a variety of restaurants and antique shops. The entire cottage and property is exclusively for your to enjoyment. We are always available to answer questions or help in any situation. Please don't hesitate to contact us. We are located less than 1 mile from the famous town of Tannersville and 2 miles from Vail’s Hunter Mountain ski resort. Take advantage of our bike trail and ride into town! We are not located close to public transportation. You will need a car to get to the chalet. The chalet is walking distance to several trails! PET FEE: We absolutely love dogs and welcome them at Camp Van Winkle. However, most dogs require additional cleaning in terms of hair removal. For this reason we charge a $100 pet fee. Please let us know if you intend to bring your buddy and we will send a fee request once you book with us! Unfortunately, we cannot allow cats due to a severe family allergy. HOT TUB: The hot tub is cleaned just for you before your arrival!! Excessive use and or not following the usage guidelines could result in an additional cleaning fee. Please be mindful of the Hot Tub Usage rules and information. Renting the chalet presumes you have agreed to abide by all hot tub instructions. We are taking COVID-19 seriously and we welcome guests who also respect current CDC best practices. This is for your safety and for the safety of the Tannersville community.
