Our place could be the right place for different kind of necessities. You can just escape from the noisy and crowded city of Milan and enjoy a quite and silent place with wide rooms and a wonderful garden where you can have breakfast or spend you're time or you can base yourself on order to explore the beauties that surround our beautiful house. From here you can easily reach several cycle paths or visit the old Abbazia of Morimondo or the beautiful Piazza Ducale in Vigevano. In an ancient “noble house” a few rooms have been arranged as a bed and breakfast in order to welcome you during a trip, a vacation, to hike around or to rest out of the city after work. Room n.1 is called the "walnut room" from the 19th century old forniture decorating it. It is a very large room (33 m2) with private bathroom (with shower), king size bed, light amber painted walls, panelled ceiling, view overlooking the park. The price is 45,00 euros per person per night, breakfast included. Our B&B is located in a small quiet village, Cassinetta di Lugagnano, which still beholds its aspect of an oasis of tranquility at the margin of the metropolitan area, thanks to its fascinating 18th century mansions built by Milanese patricians. In the surrounidings there are many restaurants and farms where you can enjoy the local traditional cookery as well as the famous italian contemporary cuisine. You may also visit some of the most interesting sites of the Lombardy Region such as the Ticino Park, Morimondo Abbey (a rare example of Cistercian architecture in Italy),or take a bike ride along the Naviglio Canal. At only 25 km from Milano, Cassinetta is easily reached by car (only 20 minutes), train (25 minutes) and bus (40 minutes). A place close to what we need, and away from what we don't need!
