A 3 bedroom gite with swimming pool & games room

Luxurious gite in beautiful, quiet rural surroundings converted in 2019. Spacious accommodation & modern facilities. Private terrace with seating & bbq with large gardens & 10m x 5m in ground pool. On the Loire/Vienne border near Futuroscope, Loire Valley Chateaux, Vineyards of Saumur & Chinon, historic towns of Poitiers, Tours & Richelieu. The characterful cottage offers historic interest including stone floors, oak beams, fireplaces, vaulted ceilings & lime washed walls. La Vieille Maison has three first floor bedrooms with wardrobes and one with en suite shower room and extra large bed, bedroom 2 and 3 have two single beds each, these two bedrooms share a bathroom. Bed linen and towels are included in this rental. On the ground floor, kitchen/dining room with fireplace, sitting room with comfortable sofas and television with french and english channels and fireplace. Guests will have access to the entire gite and to the communal gardens and swimming pool. There is undercover parking for all guests. We have a games room with pool table, football table, darts board, toys and games plus dressing up for children. Mark and Sam live on site and can help to answer any questions you may have on the area or help to direct you towards the best attractions and restaurants locally. We both speak English and are learning to speak French too. Set in a quiet rural hamlet within 2 miles from a town with a restaurant, bakers, convenience store, tourist office, bank, pharmacy etc. The nearby medieval towns of Richelieu, Chinon, Poitiers, Tours and Saumur offer excellent entertainment including chateaux, wine tours, fine dining, zoos, shopping, golf and the amusement parks of Futuroscope and Puy de Fou. We are in a beautiful quiet rural hamlet with lots of fantastic walking nearby but with the advantages of a small town approximately 2 miles away. There are two more gites on the site one with two bedrooms and the other with three bedrooms. These are available for hire separately or together. The communal facilities of the swimming pool, games room and large lawned gardens are available to all guests.
