Our luxury private suite, is a beautiful spacious place which boasts stunning views, peace & tranquility. The suite is newly renovated with a new kitchen, bathroom, WC, with bedding, towels/linen provided for you. The well equipped kitchen has a toaster, kettle, Oven/Hob, fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery & dishwasher. The suite is deep cleaned and thoroughly sanitised with fresh linen and towels provided with every changeover. We ensure to protect the most vulnerable groups who are booking with us*** Private Suite Accommodation & Facilities The luxury private suite is situated in the single story left wing / Annexe of our large converted barn house, a property full of character, with exposed original beams and stonework, vaulted ceilings dating from 1890's. The property is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) and on the edge of a protected conservation area. We are situated at the top of Milton Combe with an excellent country pub a short walk away -‘The Who’d Have Thought It in’ serving wonderful food and offer the perfect place to relax in the garden to the sound of the babbling brook or warm your cockles by the log fires in the colder months in the 15th Century pub. The Drake Manor Inn is a short drive away (5 minutes) in the picturesque village of Buckland Monchorum, the food is divine and the pub warm and welcoming. A National Trust treasure, Buckland Abbey & Garden Estate, Home of Sir Francis Drake is a stones throw away from the pub and only 1 mile from us. Opposite Buckland Abbey there is Course Fishery called ‘Coombe Fisheries’ for any keen Anglers out there to spend your day, or there is the gorgeous Garden House, in Crapstone, 1 mile to the north, or if you fancy a game of Golf, Yelverton Golf Club would be happy to have you. Many more short adventures can be had when you venture into Dartmoor National Park again, only a few minutes from where you will be staying. Surrounding areas include the beautiful market town of Tavistock (7 Miles away) Britain’s Ocean City of Plymouth (10 miles away). For keen cyclists there is Drakes cycle trail all very close by (3 Miles) and lets not forget all the delights which can be had on Dartmoor National Park a less than 1 mile away across the cattle grids, not to mention the truly stunning Burritor Reservoir a short drive away (6 miles) this is a lovely walk or cycle being 4 miles circumference. Guests will also benefit from being able to visit beautiful beaches and sites in both Devon and Cornwall within 35 minutes drive. Whilst accommodating the Luxury Private Suite you benefit from your own private entrance and external decked space. You will also have access to the lower lawns. Guests should note their is one step down into the suite, 1 step down into the kitchen, and two steps up to the WC and bathroom. Although these are all relatively subtle we like to inform guests prior to arrival of the layout of the suite is essentially on one level however does have one / two steps for those with additional needs. There is a kitchen breakfast bar and separate dining table for two. Parking is 30 meters away from the suite entrance (all secure), guests are welcome to pull up and unpack and move there car at their leisure after check in. Electric Vehicles can be charged in our external barn, using a 3 pin plug only. We live onsite and are available should you need us during your stay.
