The Portico

Apartment of 60 sqm for 2 (+2) people, in 1700's villa finely restored and furnished. Tiled courtyard and private garden with barbecue. A solarium and swimming pool. Internet and bicycles. Secluded but not isolated in a small country village. The holiday apartment is composed of a large and high ceiling sitting-room with a well equipped kitcken, a double bedroom, a shower bathroom, an utility room with washing-machine. Outside the large tiled courtyard is equipped with table, chairs, desk-chairs. On the left side there is the private little garden. Guests have the private own space of the apartment and the access to a separate courtyard where is the solarium area and a pool above ground. Private parking. Wi-fi is available for free indoor. Free bikes. The owners lives in Spoleto, but is on the site every day. Poreta is a small country village with a XIV century castle overlooking it. It's a great area for people who likes to walk (in the wood or in the olive groves) and ride bicycles. The village is along the Francesco's way from Assisi to Rome. There are tracks for mountain-bikes and the easy cicle track Spoleto - Assisi is nearby. An you can reach the other side of the mountain, in the nearby Varnerina, for rafting. A bus stop is very close to us, but bus runs olny 4 times in a day, so car is recommended. Spoleto is the maior train station and lies along the Roma - Ancona rail. By car you can easily reach all the main sites of Umbria, of lower part of Tuscany (Cortona, Arezzo, Siena) and the higher of Lazio too (Viterbo, Capraarola, Civita, Bomarzo, Bagnaia). Main distances: Spoleto: 10 min. Assisi: 30 min. Bevagna, Montefalco, Spello: 20 min Norcia, Todi: 45 min. Castelluccio: 55 min. Gubbio, Orvieto: 1 h. Roma: 1 h 30 min.
