Tamarama Beach House - Beach vews

Light and bright 3 bed, 3 bath beach home with stunning views, 4 mins walk of Tamarama Beach. Set in a quiet tree-lined street just a walk of local shops and cafe's, fall asleep to the sound of the waves all just 15 min drive of Sydney CBD. APOLOGIES - as this is our home we are unable to accomodate long term stays Location, Location, location - one of the best views in Tamarama and only a short walk of the beach. (NB although our house enjoys level access from the street, our street is a steep cul de sac. Access to the beach is via lots of steps. Good for your fitness on the way back but not for the faint-hearted!) The house is built on a sloping block and is configured with all bedrooms being on the lower level, however with level access from the street to the upper level comprising kitchen, playroom, cloakroom, dinning, sitting room, deck and rear courtyard. Our home comfortably sleeps 6 in one queen, one double, and one single that converts to double or twin. Please specify on booking which configuration you need so we can ask the housekeeper to set this up for you. Also a large deck with BBQ, outdoor dining table and chairs and seating area (level access from main reception room). Rear courtyard and sunny private porch (all on the same level). Pretty well-maintained garden on lower level with climbing frame for the kids. We will be away during your stay, however available via phone or email and local emergency numbers also supplied should you have any trouble contacting us. We love the local beach culture - a relaxed morning dip or surf followed by coffee and breakfast at 'Al's Tama cafe'. Strolling along the coastal walk to Bondi for dinner. Moonlight cinema at Centennial park (Nov-Feb) or Outdoor cinema (Mrs Macquarie's Chair Jan-Feb) Public transport is not great (mainly because we are in a quiet spot). We mainly use our feet at the weekend to get around because there is so much just a short walk away, but we are still in a city, so buses run from nearby Bondi Road or Alfred St to Bondi Junction (Nearest Train) or the City. The Beach house is not pristine - it is more in the style of shabby chic - we have an 11 year old and prefer to be relaxed rather than uptight about that. This does not mean that we are not house proud, we keep the place very tidy and clean as per photos, however the floors are in need of a revarnish and as it is a home rather than a holiday let, it is lived in and offers plenty of extra comfort as a result.
