This newly renovated one bedroom cottage sits on the peaceful and private end of Louee Street, just a short easy walk to the centre of town. Perfect for couples or solo travellers, you have the cottage and garden all to yourself with parking at your doorstep. Strictly a Non Smoking listing. You will find everything you need for a relaxing country getaway. Reverse cycle airconditioning for comfort all year round. New plush king size bed with linen and towels supplied. Bathroom products include hand wash, shampoo and conditioner from Aspar, Australian made using natural ingredients. The cosy lounge has a Smart TV, Wifi and Netflix. Fully equipped, eat in galley kitchen with full size fridge/freezer, gas cooktop and oven, microwave and Nespresso machine. Basic pantry supplies include tea, coffee, Nespresso pods, sugar, fresh milk, olive oil, vinegar, salt & pepper. Help yourself to the herb garden. Seperate internal laundry with new front load washing machine. No dryer but there is a clothesline in the backyard. Enjoy the afternoon shade in the paved outdoor area with Weber Baby Q BBQ, table and chairs. Kick back around the firepit with firewood supplied. Park at your doorstep with a sensor light at the front door if you arrive late. Self check in with keypad. Self check in with keypad and your 4 digit code. Around three and a half hours scenic drive from Sydney or Newcastle, and just 45 minutes from Mudgee. The perfect spot to relax and enjoy time away and explore all this region has to offer. Rich in farming history, beautiful scenery, food and wine. Enjoy the country town atmosphere, walk along the historic main street with its pubs, cafes, restaurants, collectibles, old wares, gift shops, local arts and crafts, butcher, bakery and general stores. Rylstone is home to family owned, boutique cool climate wine producers. Visit the historic cellar door of De Beaurepaire Wines, well known for its French style wines and take in the beautiful view across the lawns and vineyard. Naked Lady Wines offering wine tasting and a lunch menu. Stock up on award winning olive oil at the Rylstone Olive Press. Explore the nearby natural attractions including Wollemi National Park, Ganguddy-Dunn’s Swamp with its scenic walks, swimming and kayaking, Ferntree Gully, Capertee Valley, Bylong Valley and Lake Windamere. There is just so much to see and do in Rylstone and Kandos. Well worth the detour. Supplies are available from Rylstone Foodworks or the larger IGA Supermarket and Deli in Kandos. We are fortunate in Rylstone and nearby Mudgee to have great cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs to eat out. It is recommended to book a table in advance to avoid disappointment. Mobile reception out of the townships is sometimes unavailable, especially Vodafone. Check with your provider.
