As it can easily be predicted, the city centre is one of the liveliest and busiest parts of Tirana. Here you'll find parks, vintage markets, the biggest food market of the city, great restaurants and coffee shops, night clubs and many art and cultural attractions. Some attractions worth mentioning are the Skanderbeg Square, the Opera & Ballet National Theatre, the Palace of Culture, the National History Museum, the National Arts Gallery, Bunk'Art, the Clock Tower, the Et'hem Bej Mosque, the National Library of Albania, The House of Leaves, the Pyramid of Tirana and the Youth Park (Parku Rinia). The best part, is that everything is within walking distance from the apartment, so you won't need transportation to reach these locations. Tirana is small and has almost 200 sunny days per year, so it's always a good time to stroll around in order to get the full authentic experience of intercultural exchange. Either way, for further exploration, the main bus stops and many taxis are located in the main street of the neighbourhood.
