Come and enjoy a holiday at our lovely historic Cornish Country House dating from the 1540s. We are ideally situated just minutes from the A30, only 4 miles from the North Coast, 9 miles from the quaint harbour villages of the South Coast and 5 miles from the amenities of Truro. Just across the road you can plunge into Unity Woods and within 200m you are on the Mineral Tramway which leads from coast to coast off road: ideal for walks and cycle rides amongst the World Heritage Mining Sites. Follow the path around the side of the house to find the hidden door to your holiday retreat.Downstairs you have a newly fitted kitchen with dining table and a window seat with views over the back garden, a cloakroom and hallway.Up the stairs you come to a quirky bathroom with a '4 poster' bath and a lovely peaceful double bedroom overlooking fields and trees.The large lounge has ample room for all the family with a TV, corner double sofa bed and a single daybed. You are welcome to wander round the large gardens or sit outside and enjoy the sun. We are always around somewhere in the house or garden and are happy to help with advice or information about the locality at any time. We are centrally situated with easy access to all that Cornwall has to offer. We are surrounded by Mining Heritage and lots of rural walks.There are many quaint rural pubs within a few miles as well as the restaurants and bistros of Truro and the beaches. Although we are in a rural area, we are on a frequent bus route and just 2 miles from the main train line which then gives access to many pretty branch lines for those who wish to explore by public transport. We are within 200m of the picturesque Mineral Tramway which is the old miners' route from coast to coast: ideal for walks or cycle rides.There are several bike hire places close by which serve the many bike routes in the area.
