Welcome to Cwm cwch glamping by Llanidloes, where all our guests will be welcomed by a friendly host. A welcome pack of coffee, tea, cake, milk and sugar. An extra treat supplied (on request )of sausage, bacon,eggs and beans. ( vegetarian also available) We also supply sachets of butter, small pot of jam, marmalade , cereal and a selection of condiment sachets to start you off on your first morning Wake up to the peace and tranquility of lovely views deep in the heart of Mid Wales. Each of our sites are completely private with their own private facilities. This site is for a group of 8 people, two tents. If requested a third tent can be made available, At a price of £80 per night, each tent sleeps 4 people comfortably. All tents have 1 double bed and 2 single beds. An extra single bed (5th person)can be added to a tent at a cost of £20.00. Please contact me to book extra tents or beds if required. Payment for the third tent will be made through the resolution centre. Red kites and buzzards nest close by and can frequently be seen flying over head. You can relax in your own PRIVATE space, with plenty of room for the children to run around. If you are bringing your dog/dogs a cosy kennel can be supplied if required, also a tie up hook with chain so you know he/ she will be safe. Enjoy a bbq around the fire pit, logs are supplied for your arrival and more may be purchased from your host. You may want to cook on the gas-in or outside the kitchen, dinning shelter. All cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery are supplied, as is tomato sauce/ mayonnaise/salad cream & mustard sachets, also salt & pepper and a small pot of cooking oil. We also provide a cool box and will give you ice packs each day so you can keep you food chilled. There is a table and plenty of seats and a couple of sun recliners that you can relax on. We have a clean bright toilet and shower which has hot and cold water with easy temperature control. Included is hand soap, hair & body wash, also hair conditioner, hand towels, bath towels & toilet paper is also supplied. We have solar powered lights all around, but you may want to bring a torch. Your phone can be charged on the solar powered charger or at the electric point. We will greet you on arrival, observing Social distancing at all times. As we are very close to the site we are available to help or assistance when needed. We can also be contacted on the phone if we are not around. We like our guests to feel special and to have their own space and quiet to enjoy their stay. Just down the road and only a short walk away is the old market town of Llanidloes were you can look around the quirky shops, visit the old market hall, take a stroll along the beautiful river Severn or eat out at at one of several lovely restaurants. There are also quite a few dog friendly cafes and pubs where you can take your loved pets to. We also have many beautiful walks and lots of different activities to do. The clywedog dam is only a couple of miles away where you can get a permit to fish, have a picnic or just enjoy the views. Brennan adventures also run lots of activities here from paddle boarding, gorge walks, archery (book early and mention our name as groups of 6 or more can get a discount) There is Hafren forest where you can really get away from it all. It is also a popular area for cyclist with great walks/ rides to the source of the Severn. We have a very good golf course close by where the whole family can practice their putting. kayaking. (Just 14 mile away on the river Severn) where the whole family can go down the River. Pony trekking, outdoor pursuit centre, bush craft, Pottery making, many walks and cycle routes as well as Yamaha off road experience all close by. It is recommended that you book early for these activities. Also early booking for some of the restaurants will secure a place to eat. There are many excellent walks and cycle routes in the area for all abilities. The buses run at regular times taking you to the coastal towns of Aberystwyth, Borth and Aberdovey they also go to all the local villages and towns including Newtown (market day on Tuesdays) and Machynlleth ( market day Wednesday) Another popular route is Rhayader where you can visit the beautiful reservoir of Ellen valley. The train station is 7 miles away at Caersws where you can take a spectacular coastal ride to Barmouth or go south to the bigger towns. Cwm cwtch glamping is close to Llanidloes. SY186NG . Groups / Families of up to 15 people can stay, there is AN EXTRA THIRD TENT available, each tent sleeps 4 people comfortably. As with the main tent they have 1 double bed and 2 single beds, (a 4th Bed, 5th person can be added at a cost of £20) Please ask if required. Payment will be made through the resolution centre.
