One of two private newly renovated double rooms (en suite air conditioning) in an Edwardian villa City fringe close to Eden park 2 minutes walk to trains, buses. We aim to give you a four star hotel experience (minus 24 hour concierge!) The front room, with en suite, to the right, inside the front door, gives you ease of access and maximum privacy, with digital locked access to house and room. The windows are double insulated with heavy French pleated blinds in the bay window, providing a very quiet space. You are welcome to use the the sunny verandah, with table and chairs with other guest and family. A comfortable queen bed also for day time lounging. A large Wifi Chromecast enabled TV, with unlimited fibre optic internet access. USB plugs with each wall socket. Cabinet/desk and chairs, plus coffee and tea making in the room. The en suite means you don't need to leave the room while in the house. There are so many nearby cafes and restaurants you are spoilt for choice, you wont miss not having a kitchen. Feel free to use the cabinet/desk for in room dining. Washing: There is a nearby laundromat for personal washing, which we will be pleased to help you get to and use. Ask and we maybe able to do your washing for you, for the same cost as the laundromat: $10 Wash & Dry. Ask for a car park: We have a car space on site for your vehicle. Do let us know if you are bringing a car so we will ensure it is available for you. Please let us know when you will arrive so we can greet you on arrival and help you settle in. We are a busy diverse household and expect that you will largely be independent of us. You have all that you need in the lovely, comfortable room. Of course we will be delighted to tell you about our city, our favourite picks of what to see, and how to get there. Any queries or problems will be our pleasure to assist with. Kingsland is an inner city vibrant multicultural suburb with its own village atmosphere, cafes, bars and restaurants - 2 minutes walk. Dominion Rd, with so many Asian eateries and only 8 minutes walk, could be called China town. There is an abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants, but also a supermarket. Buy in meals can be delivered with ease. The train to the city centre also takes you to Newmarket for Rialto Cinemas and top range shopping. Both buses and trains are 2-3 minutes walk away to take you into the city or to West Auckland, at very frequent intervals. Taxis are nearby. Uber, Zoomy are available. Convenient airport shuttle services. On site parking for your car is available on request. We are just around the corner from Eden Park one of the most famous international rugby stadiums. When there is a large Game or function, the road maybe blocked off and access will be compromised. If you are staying for the Game you are 3-5 minutes walk away! While the game is on, access is all very workable when one knows the system. We will of course assist you with this.
