Large, comfortable home in the perfect "middle zone" between the city and the suburbs. Five Bedrooms, plus open spaces and couches that could sleep up to 14 people! Plenty of parking. Your family is welcome to stay, but parties or events are not allowed on site. Guests are welcome to use any beds they want (just let us know which ones you use), plus towels in the bathrooms. If you need a quick workout, there's equipment in the basement. Feel free to use the kitchen to prepare food. We really prefer to meet guests at their appointed check-in time to give a tour of the house and answer any questions. After that, the owner is available via cell phone as needed, though we will be off-site for the guest's entire stay. We live in an area that was a fairly well-to-do suburb 45 years ago. Most of the suburbs have moved further out now, leaving really high-quality homes in quiet, established neighborhoods. Our neighborhood is pretty diverse (fun!), and people really take good care of it. But we're less than 20 minutes from downtown Indy, and less than 5 miles from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (normally, about a 10 minute drive). There's a small shopping center about a half-mile from the house which has a Starbucks, a Dollar General, a Planet Fitness, an Irish Pub, a CVS, a Chinese Buffet, and other places as well. Plenty of good, quick eats nearby as well. Most folks around us drive their own vehicles, but there is an IndyGo bus station less than a mile from the house. Of course, Uber and Lyft are handy too. I think some of those drivers may actually live in our neighborhood. This is our normal, everyday home. A family of 9 lives here quite comfortably.
