We kindly ask everyone to READ HOUSE RULES and DETAILS prior booking. A hip nook, hence the name "Cheeta" is for practical travelers who don't mind a small space. It is cute and stylish. Tarzan's House is a rustic, eco-friendly, and upcycled accomodation meant for travelers wanting to commune with nature. We hope to spark creativity and inspire sustainability. For group/solo travelers wanting an accomodation for socializing, our place is not the right choice for you. To make your stay comfortable, bringing of food inside this room is strictly not allowed to avoid enabling all sorts of pests. Pls. consider that this cozy little room is made of wood and glass. An entire wall portion is made of glass. Please understand that it's air-conditioning unit will not be blasting cold at certain times of the day, especially during the hottest days of summer. Just in certain cases that leakage might occur during heavy rain/storm/typhoon, kindly let us know for maintenance to be able to check. We are conveniently located in front of a surf beach called Tuason Point (reef beach), restaurants near the area, 5 minute walk to Cloud 9/ a minute on a motorbike. The deck is a space to relax and is for in-house guests use only. This is where breakfast is served as well (please refer to house manual on this listing for details). Please feel free to message us through Airbnb messaging and/or email. The area is generally peaceful except for the unexpected barking and howling of street dogs all over the island that is. The sight of the sea, sound of dancing waves, and palm trees are simply beautiful and relaxing. The property is a 5 minute walk to Cloud 9. We are very near Bliss Restaurant, Harana Resort, and Zicatela. Also, just a 2 minute walk from the beach to an Italian Restaurant called L'Osteria and White Banana Beach Bar. Though measures are applied to avoid all sorts of pests, we cannot vouch that pests won't creep inside the room, be mindful about the island and jungle, this is beyond our control. Feel free to eat your snacks at the Deck area, trash bins are provided for your convenience and for proper waste segregation. Tarzan's House applies and believes in sustainability. Our structure is mainly built with natural materials such as wood, bamboo, and nipa. We are an imperfectly perfect island home for travelers wanting to experience the rawness and true beauty of nature. There are currently four house pets (all adopted), 2 dogs (Icarus & Cronos) and two cats (Tarzan & Jane) that freely roam within the property. Siargao island itself is inevitably filled with street dogs. They can bark/howl at anytime. Also, the island is a jungle, expect mosquitoes, ants, insects, and pests. Take note that our location is embraced by a jungle. Electric/Water supply interruptions are issues on the entire island. The only reason why we have water 24/7 is because we have a water pump and tank, without these, we are to be dependent on the water ration schedule in a day provided by the island's water cooperative. Though we do have a water tank to provide an extra supply during those odd situations, this too can run out. Please be advised to conserve water. If water tank runs out, we will be needing to wait for the scheduled time of water ration to have water supply and for our tank to be filled up ( water schedule is found in your room, framed in the bathroom area). In cases of unexpected electrical cuts/interruptions on the island, please be informed that we do not have a generator. For van transfer, motorbike rentals, and surf lessons, please visit the reception area. Take note that we are not affiliated with any of the recommendations we will suggest. We are simply here to give a helping hand and to connect guests and other business owners. Please transact/arrange/negotiate/pay directly with the rentals, instructors, shops etc. Tarzan's House is not responsible for any transactions made.
