This permanent tent sleeps two in luxury with all the sights and sounds of nature including spectacular rural views. Nestled by a lovely dam where the local ducks swim. If you can't find the dates you want here, check out "Donnybrook Eco Retreat Hillview" and "Valleyview" Our 100 acres provides opportunity to walk, kayak down the river, chat with the farm animals, or just sit back, throw a line in the dam and enjoy the view. Within 1/2 hour you can be in Paterson, Morpeth, Maitland and lots of Hunter Valley wineries. The Valley boasts a wide range of restaurants and cafes. Activities like hot air ballooning, sky-diving and flying lessons are available for the more adventurous. Located in gorgeous countryside between the Lovedale wine district and historic Morpeth, we are well located to provide a great jumping off point for all the Hunter Valley has to offer. Or you might prefer, as many of our guests do, to give in to the temptation to just sit in the hammock with a book and enjoy the amazing scenery and the ducks playing in the dam. The tent features: A strong steel frame with waterproof canvas walls and celiing Ensuite with hot shower, toilet & vanity Microwave Mini-fridge Kettle & toaster Electric Hotplate Basic Utensils, crockery & cutlery Powerpoint for charging mobiles & laptops Heater in Winter Fire Pit Reclining Camp Chairs & Hammock Tyre swing Dinghy and paddle for lazing about on the dam We will greet you and settle you in. However after that, you can have complete privacy if you prefer it. Though you are welcome to wander around the 100 acres of pastoral and bushland, check out the Hunter River and visit our farm animals (chooks, ducks and goats). We love our farm and feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world. We want to share this sense of tranquility, peace and beauty with you and invite you to Donnybrook for your own opportunity to rest and reconnect with what really matters. There is no public transport so you do really need a car to get here and see the sights. We have bikes & kayaks which you are welcome to borrow. Meals other than breakfast are not provided and you can bring food with you, shop at local markets (several options within 15 mins) or eat at one of the many cafes & restaurants in the Lovedale or Pokolbin areas.
