Dear guests, Our house, of which you will rent the TOP FLOOR, is located at the foot of Bucegi Mountains & offers AMAZING VIEW over Baiului Mountains. We have a LOVELY TERRACE, Wi-Fi, a kitchenette & parking spaces. * We would love to SHARE w/ you a fully equipped kitchen. * There are 2 ENTRANCES: one mainly used by us & the other can, upon request, be used only by you. * Renting the top floor means that there will be STAIRS to climb. * Our DOGS are FRIENDLY and live OUTSIDE <3 ~Hugs~ THE HOUSE * a terrace with a wonderful view over the Baiului Mountains; * a space for relaxation (i.e. a living room - a dining room combo); * a kitchenette; * 3 bedrooms with double-sized beds; * 2 bathrooms; * parking spaces. THE TERRACE * an amazing view; * one rocker for two people; * a coffee table; * a table with four chairs (we can add two more from the dining room); THE LIVING ROOM & DINING ROOM COMBO * A sofa offering space for 6 people; * A plasma TV (with a 110 cm diagonal); * one extensible table and chairs for 6 people; * an area for preparing snacks which includes: a table, tableware and dishes for 6 people, glass bottle, electric kettle, fridge (with a freezer). THE BEDROOMS 1) THE PINK ROOM 2) THE BLUE ROOM 3) THE GREEN ROOM (*has its own bathroom) They include: * a double-sized bed each; * a wardrobe each; * two bedside tables; * a table lamp; * a TV set with cable TV; * a garbage can. THE BATHROOMS * a blue bathroom (common to the pink and the blue room); * a green bathroom (belonging to the green room). ***Both bathrooms have the following: WC, shower, sink, cabinet, mirror, garbage can. THE SECRET INGREDIENT To ensure that you have a special experience and that you can enjoy a home cooked meal, we can provide upon request (giving us a little heads-up in advance so that we make sure we are there for you): * access to a fully-equipped shared kitchen; * access to a barbecue grill; *** and the "secret ingredient" as a mentor, the most skilled cook: mom! :) SPEAKING OF COMMUNICATION :) | There’s no stopping us to talk to our guests Gladly, we always have our young English speaker at one phone call distance away to help us bridge the language gap. We also promise you that we too are making steps towards speaking in English with you the next time we see each others. So fear not, WE ARE HERE FOR YOU! : ) Surprisingly, our oasis of peace is close to numerous places. In 10-20 minutes by car, you can visit: * Cantacuzino Castle; * Peles Castle; * Sinaia Monastery; * “George Enescu” Memorial House; * “Cezar Petrescu” Memorial House. In 40 min. - 1h. by car, you can visit: * Brasov and the surroundings, among our recommendations: ** The Council Square, Republicii Street, White Tower and Black Tower, Tampa Peak; ** Bran Castle; ** The Rasnov Fortress. PARKING We have up to 3 parking spaces in front of the house that you can use. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION > 800 m (5 min. by foot) from the Poiana Tapului Train Station; > 3.5 km (10 - 24 min. by car depending on the traffic) from the Busteni Train Station; > 15 lei = ~ 3.5 euros a taxi (cab) ride from our home to Busteni Train Station. THE MIDNIGHT "VISITORS" & OUR FAITHFUL FRIENDS Because we live so close to the forest, we sometimes have at night a nice, but nonetheless dangerous, visitor (a bear). We, therefore, advise you to be careful when getting out of the house at night. However, we have two very faithful friends (you can spot them in our pictures: Graf & Roxy) which will let you know when there is not safe outside.
