Comfortable, relaxing and with a personal touch

You are a guest in a creative and active family with three teenage children and three cats. The guest room is located on the ground floor of our home. You enjoy comfort and privacy in a homely atmosphere. You will also find a cozy sitting area in the studio next to the guest room where, in the winter, the pellet stove burns attractively. In the morning you can use our breakfast service here. But you will also find all the practical necessities to prepare something yourself. The guest room is tastefully decorated with wooden furniture and here and there a funny detail such as a strip of retro wallpaper or a colorful shell garland. Double bed, flat screen, internet, coffee and tea are available in the room. Our guests have their own separate private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. As a guest you have access to the entire ground floor of the house. At Villa Rafels we always receive our guests personally at check-in. We take the time to answer all your questions. You will also receive a front door code from us. This way you can go in and out during your stay whenever you want. Our B&B is located in a nice and quiet residential area near a park ( Hof van Leysen) where you can drink a coffee at Café Kamiel. Or maybe you would like to buy all sorts of goodies yourself at the Reddende Engel bakery in our street. Villa Rafels has even more advantages in terms of location. For example, Expo Antwerp is within walking distance of our B&B. The same applies to the Wezenberg Olympic swimming center and the Singel international arts center. We are also very close to a large number of training centers such as; East West Center, PIVA and KOCA. Villa Rafels is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Antwerp South train station is a 5-minute walk from our house. Bus and tram stations are also within walking distance of our b & b. The large parking at the end of the Arthur Goemarelei is free. In all other streets paying parking applies from 9 am to 7 pm (€ 3.80 per 24 hours). SMS parking is possible. You will find bicycle stations around the corner on both ends of our street. Nowadays you can also find electric scooters everywhere in Antwerp. Antwerp low emission zone Villa Rafels and the parking are situated in the low-emission zone of the city of Antwerp. Only vehicles that meet certain environmental criteria may therefore drive in this area. If you have questions or need more information regarding the low emission zone, you can consult the website (Website hidden by Airbnb) 2.5 euros tourist tax per night per guest payable on arrival. Guests under the age of 12 are exempt from this tourist tax.
