Beautiful spacious 3 bedroomed flat, located in a lively street. Danish design furniture (A. Jacobsen, B. Mogensen, P. Hein, etc). Fully equipped (Flat screen, Wifi, 24h security, a/c in all rooms, washing, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso...). This is a private home, not a hotel :) Thank you. If you are 2 people or less, please ask for discount. Guests have described the flat as an oasis in Cairo... The building is from the 90's. It has been furnished with the best Danish and Italian design and renovated in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) You can access the whole flat except part of the cupboards in room 1 and some cupboards in the dining room. There is a 4th tiny room behind the kitchen, where vacuum cleaner, tools etc are stored. Smoking is permitted on the balconies. You are welcome to call me. I'm Danish but I live in Portugal and Cairo. I have (Hidden by Airbnb) , viber, email, phone... The security staff is available 24h for help anytime. They do not speak English, but they are very willing to help and I can communicate with them in Arabic. Dr El Batrawy Street is a safe and reasonably quiet location, but the street became famous when Genena Mall was built in the 90's just a few hundred meters away. Now it is a busy shopping and café street. This area is mainly local. People will come from many other areas of Cairo to go shopping here. You have everything you need within 5 min walking distance: Supermarkets, Fish Market with daily fresh fish and seafood from the Red Sea, butcher, pharmacies, ice skating ring, alcohol shop, etc. The 24h security staff downstairs will get you a taxi at any time of the day/night. On your way back, any taxi driver will take you home easily if you mention you live in the same street as Genena Mall. I also recommend to use UBER or similar apps. 10 minutes from Cairo airport. Without traffic you can be in downtown Downtown in less than 25 minutes. Cairo is a very noisy and dusty city. Our street gets a bit crowded after sunset, but it fades away around 11pm. I try to have everything functioning perfectly but it is a bit of a challenge because the intense heat is very tough on electric appliances etc. Everything is checked before guests' arrival. If anything is not working, please let me know asap. In Egypt nearly anything can be repaired or solved very fast! Additionally to the WIFI, there is a SIM card available for our guests.
