Spacious Breton Longere

Traditional south facing longere with views to the forest of Lanouee. Set in the heart of rural Brittany. This recently refurbished gite is convenient as a base for touring or just chilling out in the peaceful countryside. The south facing house and garden let you soak up the sun all day long, and conveniently in the evening it shines on the barbeque and pool. As the garden and parking area are fully fenced the property is ideal for younger children to explore and play freely. The lane outside is almost traffic free and ideal for quiet walks. You will have full use of the house and gardens with an above ground pool and childrens swings. The children are invited to feed the goats and chickens if they wish. We are available all the time to address any problems and give local advice. Quillien is a tiny hamlet; the nearest village is Plumieux which has a shop, boulangerie, a post office and two bars. La Trinité Porhoet has a chemist and bank plus a bar which provides lunchtime meals. A car is essential as we are situated deep in the countryside and there is no public transport available. We have a variety of cycles which you can borrow to explore the area. We have a kitchen garden (Pottager) which provides fruit and vegetables in season. Our chickens also supply a steady stream of fresh free range eggs.
