Our family home is in a secluded cul de sac in Raheny village, close to all shops, pubs, restaurants and amenities Raheny and the surrounding areas have to offer. We want you to enjoy your stay with us so have made every effort to make your room warm, quiet and comfortable. You also have access to the living areas, gardens and kitchen facilities should you wish to have a quiet night in. Bus and DART services are within a stones throw should you wish to visit local areas or the city center. Our home has wooden floors throughout and a real fire which gives it a warm and relaxing feeling. Suitable for couples or solo travelers, we are just 20 minutes from the city center by bus or DART. Howth fishing village IS just 10 minutes away, as is Malahide with its beautiful castle and grounds. For those who like to get outdoors and close to nature, the local Bull Island beach and Saint Annes park provide options to get outside and walk, run, surf, sail or SUP if that's your thing. While staying with us you will have access to everything you would expect in a modern home including living and dining areas, full kitchen facilities, washer and dryer, private garden and off street parking. Those of you who would like to experience a real Irish 'drop in' music session will be thrilled with our local pubs and the musicians and singers who turn up on a weekly basis, all just across the road from us, so no driving, buses, taxis or DART required to get there. Just let us know how we can make your stay more comfortable and we will do all in our power to make it happen. Our home is in historic Raheny Village which is on the coast about 8km (5.0 mi) from Dublin city center and 7km (4.3 mi) from Dublin Airport. For music and sports fans, the Three Arena is just 7km away, Croke Park Stadium 6km and the Aviva rugby stadium less than 10km. Two major features of Raheny are the 5 km (3.1 mi) beach known as Dollymount Strand on the nature reserve of Bull Island, and Saint Annes, the largest of Dublin's municipal parks, formerly the home of the Gunness family. Eight crescent cottages on Station Road near the junction with the Howth Road are among the oldest buildings in the village, having been built around 1790. There is excellent walking and cycling on the sea front, the Bull Island, in St. Anne's Park and around the local streets. For golfers, we have the Royal Dublin, Portmarnock, Clontarf and St. Annes Golf Clubs all on our doorstep, with many more close by. There is no shortage of transport options with bus stops and Raheny DART station just minutes away.
