Just look at the reviews! A fun and relaxing place to stay. Great for NPL and St Mary's College, Bushy Park 2 min walk. Very large bedroom available in a 4 bedroom house in Teddington, Middlesex. The bedroom has 2 very large fitted double wardrobes, a fitted chest of 5 drawers, vanity unit / desk with 8 drawers. There's a TV with freeview and wifi internet. Shower/Bathroom for guests that are staying. The pricing is for one occupant and second occupant pricing is negotiable. This room is designed for 2 adults only and it is not possible to accommodate young children as a third guest. If you are only booking for a single occupancy please look at my other guest bedroom as if possible I try to keep the double free for double occupancy. I have a full size snooker table if you fancy a game and dartboard in the log cabin in the garden. Nice south facing garden. It's a quiet location near to good transport links. It's about an 8 minute walk to Teddington British Rail station - 30 minutes to Waterloo. There are a couple of bus routes close by - No. 285 and X26 direct to Heathrow in about 35 mins or less. 281, 33 and R68 only 10 min journey to Richmond. Hampton Court, Bushy Park & Richmond Park all nearby and River Thames only a short walk. For guests who are working at nearby NPL or St Mary's College it is ideal location. Smoking is allowed outside in the garden but not in the house. I have had many nice guests to stay and look forward to more in what I would call a very relaxed and friendly household. Pets are negotiable at a small extra charge. Fridge, Freezer Space, Washing Machine (£1.00 nominal charge). Bathroom is shared if guests in both rooms. There is another available bathroom downstairs if ever there is "bathroom congestion", but it has never happened to date after over 500 guests. There is sometimes a parking space available on the drive and there is plenty of free parking in the road. Parks and River Thames all nearby. Hampton Court is a 25 min walk. Good local shopping centres in Kingston and Richmond. Transport services in the area are fantastic. 4 buses within 2 min walk operating a very frequent service. If you are arriving from Heathrow Terminal 3 then hop on the 285 at Heathrow Central and it will take about 35 minutes depending on time of day and get off at NPL/Gloucetser Road Bus Stop, or take the X26 (much quicker) but it only stops in Teddington High St and you will need to walk back (about 5 mins) or hop on a (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) or 285 back to me. If arriving at Terminal 4 or Terminal 5 then you can get free interconnecting buses to Terminal 3 or Hatton Cross where you can change buses. I would also suggest (if you do not already have one) that you purchase an OYSTER TRAVEL CARD online or at the airport, they are £5 each but the fares on the bus transport will be half price and the buses do NOT accept cash. If using the kitchen for cooking in the evening please leave it as you found it and wash up and put dishes away etc when you have finished. We have only one rule here...Please do NOT bang bedroom and bathroom doors as there are other people in the house. Please also respect that the lounge is "My Private Space" and off limits to guests, although sometimes I invite guests to watch football or films with us. Thank you
