We kindly as everyone to read HOUSE RULES & DETAILS prior booking. Kala's Cave - Kala is a fictional ape character and is the adoptive mother of Tarzan. This cozy nook has an AC unit, 1 double size bed, a living area with a sizeable sofa (can be used as a single bed), a practical space for hanging clothing. The bathroom is spacious. It has a lavatory, a shower room with hot/cold water, & a toilet. Tarzan's House is a rustic and eco-friendly accomodation housing upcycled furnitures and hand-made creations. Meant for travelers wanting to commune with nature. Kala is a cozy space, reminiscent of a cave. It has one window. For travelers wanting a lot of windows, this is not the space for you. This room was inspired by warmth and love. Kindly be informed that the roof is made of natural nipa material. When it rains/when there is a storm/during typhoon season, leakage might occur. If so, please inform us for maintenance to check. Conveniently located in front of a surf point beach called Tuason Point, restaurants near the area, 5 minute walk to Cloud 9/ a minute on a motorbike. In-house guests are welcome to chill and relax at the deck. Read a book, take naps on the hammock, or simply appreciate the sound of waves from the great blue. Breakfast is served here as well (please refer to house manual on this listing for details). Please message through Airbnb or emailing only. The area is generally peaceful except for the unexpected barking and howling of street dogs all over the island that is. The sight of the sea, sound of dancing waves, and palm trees are simply beautiful and relaxing. The property is a 5 minute walk to Cloud 9. We are very near Bliss Restaurant, Harana Resort, and Zicatela. Also, just a 2 minute walk from the beach to an Italian Restaurant called L'Osteria and White Banana Beach Bar. Tarzan's House applies and believes in sustainability. Our structure is mainly built with natural materials. An imperfectly perfect island home for travelers wanting to experience the rawness and true beauty of island living. Pet lovers? We have adopted pets that freely roam within the property. Given that the island is inevitably filled with stray dogs, they can bark/howl at anytime. Please consider that the island is a jungle. Expect mosquitoes, all sorts of insects, and pests. Let us avoid these (see house rules) by not bringing food inside this room. Though we try our best to avoid pests, kindly understand that we are in the middle of the jungle and it is inevitable to completely stay pest free. Electric/Water supply interruptions are issues on the entire island. The only reason why we have water 24/7 is because we have a water tank, without this, we are to be dependent on the water ration schedule in a day provided by the island's water cooperative. Though we do have a water tank to provide an extra supply during those odd situations, this too can run out. Please be advised to conserve water. If water tank runs out, we will be needing to wait for the scheduled time of water ration ( water schedule is posted in the rooms ). In case of unexpected electrical cuts/interruptions on the island, please be informed that we do not have a generator.
