Dog Friendly Flat at Haystacks

Haystacks at Underhill has a tranquil setting combined with superb views of the Duddon Valley. Wonderful walking at all levels, mountain biking, dog friendly, good wifi, very peaceful. Haystacks at Underhill is nestled in the Duddon Valley overlooking Coniston and the surrounding peninsula. This area is definitely one of the Lake District's hidden gems. The original farmhouse was built in the 16th Century and has been updated to make your stay snug and cozy. The Flat is located on the second floor, with its own deck to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Duddon. The double bedroom is spacious with wardrobe and draws with ensuite. The bathroom with bath and 'shower over' is well appointed. The sitting/dining room and kitchen lie beyond. The sitting room has a comfortable sofa and chair, tv/dvd, and an alfresco dining area looking out into the valley. The kitchen is well-equipped with stove, fridge, freezer dishwasher and microwave. Because of the covid virus, i have had removed oil, salt and pepper from the store cupboard. Please bring along your own sanitiser. Sorry You will enter the flat up a flight of stairs from the car park. This is your access to the flat and is shared with no one else. There are sensor lights for the car parking area and stairs leading to the flat. I live just across the way from the flat and will be here when you arrive to let you in. Please ask if there is anything you need or if you would like suggestions for walks or places to visit during your stay. The flat is located at The Hill between Broughton and Millom. Situated on the edge of England's largest, famous, Lake District National Park, we have a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Many people are frequent return visitors to our area. We are surrounded by picturesque scenery, with lots of lovely walking and cycling, if you don't mind hills and lakes! We have super pubs, shops, cafés and more. With your own transport, you can be in the main hub of tourist areas in 20- 40 mins ( longer for the more northern lakes) Dog charge of £10 per night applies A maximum of 1 dog is permitted in flat. Dogs are not to be left in the property unsupervised and should be house trained. Payment for the dog is made through Airbnb - if you go to your booking page and scroll down to the part that says - send or request money, this is where your payment is made.
