This is a beautifully presented detached family house situated in a quiet and very private woodland setting. The house was built in 2006 in a barn conversion style and was specifically designed by the owners to be ideal for their own family holidays with their children and their friends. As such it is ideally laid out with an excellent balance of open plan living space and comfortable, well proportioned bedrooms. As a 'home from home' the house has a very high standard of furniture and equipment throughout and there are plenty of games and DVDs to ensure that there is still plenty to do for adults and children alike on those odd days that the weather spoils your plans. There are two sets of large patio doors leading off the main reception room, the largest of which leads out onto a full width covered patio area and enormous south facing garden beyond. As such this room is wonderfully light and airy during the summer months but with the deep leather Chesterfield sofas and log burner it can also become warm and snug in the winter. The village is best known for the Thursford Collection, but is also home to Thursford Wood, a medieval wood pasture containing some of the oldest trees in the country.
