This room has its own private adjoining ensuite w large roomy shower, plenty of wardrobe space, a desk and a leather rocking chair. This is your own private space to relax or work as it has a desk with lots of light. There are plenty of public transport options close by - easy access to Monash University, the city, local shopping area and more. The room also has a small safe for you to secure your valuables. My house is located in a really nice quiet street and this room has a king single bed which has plenty of natural light, wardrobe space, a desk and it's own private ensuite. It is very clean and private. I have wifi for you to access as well. You have access to the kitchen to prepare breakfast and light meals but there are so many options around the area you will probably be out exploring most of the time. If you want to borrow a bike you can use it to ride to St Kilda, Brighton to view the bathing boxes or even just up to the supermarket. I am quite busy but interact with my guests when possible. The neighbourhood is in close proximity to shops, restaurants and bars in Elsternwick, Brighton, Gardenvale, Glenhuntly, Malvern and Elwood. I'm only 3km from the beach, close to open space and easy to get around on various public transport options. At the end of my street is a tram line that can take you to Kew, City centre, St Kilda beach and Malvern. A block from my house is a bus that takes you to a number of locations including Chadstone shopping centre, Chapel Street, Prahran market, Victoria market and more. Tram route 64 - Melbourne university to Brighton East is just at the end of my street. Tram route 67 from Carnegie to Melbourne University crosses with the no.64 that can take you to Glenhuntly and on to Carnegie. Sandringham train line is a 10 minute walk - Sandringham via Brighton Beach and into the city. Bus route 219 takes you from Gardenvale ( a couple of streets away) through the city and on to Sunshine in the West. Bus route 605 will go from Gardenvale to the city. Bus route 625 will take you from Elsternwick, past the next street to my house and on past Oakleigh to Chadstone Shopping Centre. Bus route 630 from Elwood (near St Kilda) via Gardenvale and then on to Ormond and Huntingdale. There is also a bus that travels along North Road to Monash University campus in Clayton. There is a night bus that stops a few blocks away that leaves the city to Frankston every hour and trains are nightly now as well so there are plenty of public transport options. If you wish to ride a bike, I have a hybrid bike that is available to ride and there are plenty of bike tracks around.
