During the warm summer months you can also comfortably reach the cool pine forest (800 m), ideal for relaxing walks. For a cultural change during your holidays, we recommend a visit to Camaiore (14 km), with its historical center and monuments, among which the elegant church of Santa Maria Assunta from the second half of the 13th century stands out; Or Pietrasanta (16 km), well-known artist city, with all-year exhibitions by internationally renowned artists. Some distances: Lucca (30 km), which hosts the Lucca Comics & Games and the Lucca Summer Festival; Massa (25 km) with the medieval castle of Malaspina and the impressive Piazza Aranci; Pisa (23 km) with the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower.
