SUPER SEA VIEW WITH YOUR OWN TERRACE

The room is in a private apartment, it has an adjacent private bathroom with a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea. The terrace is large and is where you would have breakfast in warm seasons. Another room can be rented AT AN EXTRA CHARGE. Our apartment is on the hill overlooking the sea and the famous Faraglioni of Acitrezza. It is at about a 10 minute walk from the centre of the village, you need to go down a hill for about 500 metres to get to the village. We have one room to let out or the possibility to let you have another if you are a family of 4. The second room has 2 single beds AT AN EXTRA COST). This is a real B & B where we also live. The view is wonderful and the area is very quiet and quite private. There is plenty of space outside on our street for you to park your car. You will have a room with double bed with adjacent bathroom and terrace. The terrace is the place where you would have breakfast in warm periods of the year and where you might like to spend alot of your time while you are in the house. You are welcome to use the TV in the living room. I would be with you at breakfast time and would be happy to give you any information as to places to see and where to go. I know the island pretty well. Breakfast together with the wonderful terrace is the best part of the stay I feel, you can choose between a continental breakfast with yoghurt, fresh fruit, hot croissants or similar, toast and marmalade/jam, tea, coffee, juice or a complete English breakfast with eggs. Just let me know your preferences. The fishing village of Acitrezza has not changed in at last 30 years. The fascination of this place built on lava is wonderful. The Faraglioni dominate the coastline. A small village but with most amenities, from fruit and vegetable shops, butcher, fish shop, a small supermarket and restaurants which you must try .... bars/cafes. The famous local granita can be found in various cafès in the area. You can get to the centre of either Catania or Acireale from the house with a 20 minute bus ride which leaves once an hour from the bottom of the hill (a 5 minute walk down the hill). Parking can be easily found in the road outside our building. A taxi ride or car rental from the airport are the easiest ways of getting here. However I can arrange to pick you up at for an extra cost. The 40 euros for cleaning is applied to those that stay a week as there is a change of sheets and towels.
