Surprisingly large, top floor apartment in a small block provides all the comforts of home. Kick back in a chaise sofa in a relaxed living area with granite floors and pops of violet and blue throughout. Fix a cup of tea in a single-wall kitchen and take it out to the balcony to enjoy from the comfort of a Papasan chair. With an expansive view over Kensington village and surrounds, the north-facing apartment is bright and homely. I’m really looking forward to hosting you in my stylish, fully furnished, 1 bedroom Kensington apartment, which is located close to Kensington Village shops, cafes and restaurants and also to the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail. The centre of Melbourne is not far away as Kensington and Macaulay stations are both a short walk from the apartment – getting into the CBD is ultra convenient and quick! My apartment is light-filled and spacious and has a lovely balcony to relax on. The open plan living area is beautifully set up. Relax on the comfortable couch in front of the smart TV and have cosy nights at home, that’s if you’re not too busy making the most out of the fabulous nearby restaurants, cafes and bars. The kitchen is modern and ultra functional, and perfect for preparing meals at home. All mods cons are available for your convenience, such as an electric oven, cook top, cooking utensils, appliances (microwave, kettle and toaster), a coffee plunger and a full sized fridge. The bedroom is quiet, and has an extremely comfy queen bed, ensuring you of a really restful night sleep. There is plenty of cupboard space, so that you can unpack all your belongings and really feel right at home. The bathroom is neat and comes with all your essentials. And don’t worry if you forget your personal amenities either, as there are bathroom essentials supplied for your convenience. Guests staying longer than a couple of days will be pleased to know that there are laundry facilities available. Heating and cooling provide year round comfort, while wireless internet is available throughout the apartment. There is also secure off-street parking for your convenience. You will instantly feel right at home here in Kensington, and love living like a local in comfort, relaxation and style! Guests will have access to the entire property I am available to answer any questions, queries or issues if they arise during your stay. Wander around historic Kensington village, inner city suburb just two stops from the CBD, perfect base to explore Melbourne. Set among leafy streets, locals love urban village charm with burgeoning selection of restaurants & cafes. Enjoy a lazy brunch with great coffee at Fruits of Passion cafe. Walk to newly refurbished gastro-pub Hardimans on Kensington Hill, 1565 for delicious home made ice-cream; White Rabbit Record Bar offers a quirky alternative. To access to Melbourne’s railway system – Kensington Train Station is a 2-minute walk from the apartment. From here, the Craigieburn Line will take you into the city to Flinders Street Station in 15 minutes (3 stops). Taking the train from Macaulay Station is also an option. The station is a 4-minute walk from the apartment, and from here, the Upfield line will whisk you into the city in 12 minutes. From Flinders Street Station/Federation Square, you can easily access all of central Melbourne's most famous attractions, such as Federation Square, Southbank, The National Gallery of Victoria, The Crown Casino, acmi and The Botanical Gardens.
