cozy full furnished apartment with 1 bedroom, 300m from the sea, 2nd floor, spacious living room, extra bed, dining table, separate spacious kitchen full equipped, big bathroom with shower bath tab, balcony view to the garden and surrounded by trees This apartment has been used as a summer house for many years & still is. Just a breath away from the amazing seaside of Varkiza. There is wi-fi in the apartment. The balcony in the morning is a fantastic place to eat breakfast and enjoy the green and very ambient during night with the help of candles. Clean sheets and towels are provided. Since I consider cleanness and disinfection very important a very effective method is being used for the linen and towels so that there is a maximum result of disinfection. I am always available in any informations you might need for the apartment, the area around and for Athens. I enjoy helphing my guests to feel like locals! The apartment is located at the heart of the town. The pedestrian seaside walk which offers a great view of the Varkiza bay is a few minutes walking down the street. You may enjoy wonderful romantic walks by the seaside and under the moonlight. It is a quiet & safe neighbourhood and it has all kind of facilities around. A super-market, a bakery, a grocery shop, a bank with ATM, a pharmacy, pastry shop, home-made Greek food (take away too), a summer cinema, all are in a walking distance. Where to eat & drink: there are plenty of choices to eat nearby from traditional Greek souvlaki to fresh fish. There are delicious choices for ice-cream (yiami), for sweets, for coffee and for clubbing. Where to swim: there are plenty of bays around the area in just 5' walk & they are free of charge. The Varkiza resort beach for relaxing under an umbrella and with service facilities (payable) offers nautical sports such as surfing, sea-bike, canoe etc. By car or bus: 5'min away is Vouliagmeni with the private beach of Asteras or the public beach Okeanida all organized. For the adventurous there are a few rocky creeks for swimming and scuba-diving. Vouliagmeni Lake with a standard temperature of 22 to 29 °C which is known for her therapeutic water springs. in Vouliagmeni you can also enjoy a variety of food, coffee, ice-cream, sweets, frozen-yogurt or drinks. in 10'min you can reach Glyfada shopping area for shopping & window therapy. There is a bus stop in 5' walk from the apartment which has lines connecting all the nearby area as well as more distant places such as the center of Athens and the temple of Poseidon in Sounio. There are also buses connected to the Athens metro. In 2' walk there is a taxi station. Car rental is also available. Easy parking area. Location: Varkiza is a seaside south superb of Athens. It is a summer resort for the Athenians and not only. It is 25 km away from the center of Athens & 20 km from the airport.
