Come home to your own private one-bedroom apartment, in quiet suburban Melbourne. From the driveway you’ll have private access to the apartment, which consists of the entire upstairs of our renovated family home. This space is perfect for singles or couples, and would suit professionals visiting for work, or those visiting Melbourne for a city getaway. Upstairs, you’ll arrive at your private lounge - relax on your comfy leather couch, and pop your feet up after a long day! There’s a TV for your enjoyment. Perhaps you prefer a game of Monopoly or Scrabble to unwind? A selection of board games are available for your use. Adjoining the lounge is the study nook – a tea-and-coffee station can be found here, complete with coffee pod machine, kettle, microwave, selection of teas and associated cups. Milk will be provided for your stay in the bar fridge underneath. Double doors from the lounge lead you into the Queen-size bedroom – hotel-quality linen is provided. You may catch a glimpse of a stunning Melbourne sunset from the bedroom windows. Adjoining the bedroom is a walk-in-robe, complete with coat hangers and ample shelving for your use. And through the robe is your own private ensuite, with extra-large tiled shower, toilet and large vanity basin. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and a hair dryer are all provided for your use. Luxurious bath sheet towels are also provided. The apartment consists of the entire upstairs of our renovated family home, so your host is not far away if you need anything during your stay. Our tiny suburb is located approximately 13km from the CBD of Melbourne, and approximately 12 km from Melbourne Airport. A short walk to the east will take you to a selection of shops including cafes, milk bar, take away Chinese food and a 24-hour Bakery! An easy 1km walk to the west will bring you to the suburban shopping centre of Hadfield, West Street. Here, you will find all you need, including: • Supermarket • Bakeries • Cafes • Take Away Pizza • Fish and Chips • Chemist • Post Office - Free / unlimited street parking available. - Bus: Public buses travel down East street on a regular basis. - Train: Catch the Upfield (Craigieburn) line train at either Fawkner station (20min walk through the Cemetery), or Merlynston (27min walk). - Tram: The closest tram stop is at the intersection of Sydney Road and Baker’s Road, Coburg North. - Taxi: various services available. - Uber. - Airport: Tullamarine International Airport is 16km away (around 20min in quiet / off peak traffic). - ONE OR TWO GUESTS ONLY: Apartment Milieu is the perfect space for one or two guests only - thank you for understanding that additional guests can not be accommodated.
