Redwood Tree cottage is nestled under a majestic Redwood tree spawning a leafy oasis in the heart of inner Sydney. Centrally located close to Strathfield towncentre & trains (walking distance); the cottage offers a separate guest living space complete with bathroom, kitchenette, and patio, and presents the ideal accomodation for guests desiring simple comfort and a restful stay in a prime location! This is a separate, calming, and peaceful space directly under the dappled shade of an enchantingly beautiful Dawn Redwood tree, immersing the cottage in thick greenery from above amidst a lush undergrowth of orchids and subtropical plants below. And all within the city limits! Redwood Tree cottage has been lovingly furnished with a tastefully decorated private ensuite and living space adjoining a tidy & functional kitchenette leaving you feeling relaxed and organised throughout your stay. This has been my paradise for many years. Now I offer it to you. An oasis of serenity amidst the bustling city. Redwood Tree cottage is tucked away at the end of our garden. Guest access to the cottage is via a secure front entrance & side gate alongside our main home allowing you the privacy and security to come and go as you please. Guests have sole access to Redwood Tree cottage during their stay. Guests also have access to the cottage gardens and access to free parking in our front driveway. Other than showing you around when you arrive and handing you the keys, we'll completely respect your privacy and leave you alone. However, because the cottage and our main house are on the same lot, we are readily available and close by if you need anything. Strathfield has been famously dubbed "little Korea" for the multitude of delightful Korean barbecue restaurants and shops located around the towncentre. However, the local economy has since flourished due to being easily accessible from Strathfield station and now a vibrant cafe culture exists during the day transforming into a thriving carnival nightlife scene and popular restaurant destination each evening. In fact, Strathfield towncentre has become an 'eating mecca', drawing in crowds of local Sydney-siders and tourists alike! Enjoy a rich local selection of Malaysian, Lebanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Chinese, and Indian food at your doorstep! Strathfield is a major transportation hub due to its geographically central & convenient location, and your options for transport at Redwood cottage are many! I'm also more than happy to allocate parking within the gated driveway of the premises should you have a car and wish to park off-street. ☆ Short walk (approx 15 min) to Strathfield towncentre & trainstation which runs frequent direct traintrips to Sydney CBD in 15 min! ☆ Approx 8 min drive to Sydney Olympic park in Homebush! ☆ Approx 60 min direct traintrip to Sydneys world famous Blue Mountains via Strathfield station! ☆ Short walk (approx 15 min) to Burwood Westfield shopping centre & Cinema complex! ☆ Approx 4 km away from Sydney's famous Bicentennial park & DFO! ☆ Strathfield park only a short walk away! (approx 6 min) The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, kettle, and sink but does not have a stove.
