This detached cottage is just under three miles from Radstock within the grounds of the Ammerdown Centre and sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. Aldrich Cottage is a detached cottage set in the grounds of the Ammersdown Centre, just under three miles from Radstock. The cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms which are a king-size double (zip/link, can be a twin on request) with an en-suite shower room, a double with an en-suite bathroom, a twin with an en-suite shower room and a ground floor twin with an en-suite shower room. There is also a ground floor shower room, a kitchen with a dining area, a utility room and a sitting room. Outside there is a private patio and guests have use of the shared grounds with an outdoor heating swimming pool. There is also off road parking for two cars. Aldrich Cottage is the perfect retreat for a tranquil holiday. Amenities: Electric heaters. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: there are two dining chairs also available for extra seating and a leather arm chair in the lounge area. Region: Somerset offers 3 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmers’ market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury. Town: The former coal-mining town of Radstock is a fantastic location filled with places of historic interest and surrounded by greenery. The Radstock Museum is an interesting day out with plenty of history about the area and the industrial past of the town. Two cycle routes run from the town and open up the surrounding wider countryside with routes running from Bath through to Frome. For walkers there are a number of options including the Miners and Black Mountain Trails where there is some stunning scenery on offer.
