maison du pelerin

La maison pelerin is right in the heart of Collonges-la-Rouge. It has amazing views from it's terrace over the church and surrounding countryside. The house is medieval with high ceilings and huge fireplaces, and all the rooms are centred round a stone staircase. With a pool table and darts board, it makes it's the perfect holiday destination. The house is truly unique and you will be staying in a historical building. It's great for the summer as the rooms keep wonderfully cool due to the thick stone walls, while the terrace is a suntrap should you wish to do some sunbathing. You will have access to the entire house during your stay, with your own front door. The house is located above our shop, this is open everyday during the summer from 11am so you will always be able to find us to ask any questions. Collonges-la-Rouge is the original plus beau village in France. There are plenty of other beautiful villages close by to explore. The smaller bedroom is on the same side as the church and so you will hear the bells ringing, this can be seen as a positive or a negative depending on your view!
