There are two full bathrooms - The jack-and-jill bath that adjoins the master bedroom and the twin bedroom has a stand-up shower and the main bath has a soaking tub, but no shower. Street parking permission is available through the City of Milwaukee at no cost. You will need to provide the vehicle license plate number. You will have private use of the entire second floor which includes two private balconies and a stacking laundry. Guests may use the gas grill next to the back door, but please ask for instructions first. It has a unique starting system. Basement and first floor spaces are otherwise occupied, so they are not available for your use. My dog (a sweet black lab), two house cats and I reside on the premises, so I'll be available to answer any questions or address any problems that might arise. The house is on a quiet tree-lined street in a neighborhood of historic and architecturally significant homes. Walk to UW-Milwaukee and shop in nearby Downer Avenue at a market, deli, and independent bookstore, before visiting the Downer Theater. Walk, bike, Zipcar (Both Bubblr Bike rentals and Zipcar are just around the corner), Uber, Lyft and taxi service, Milwaukee County Transit, and of course, your own car if you happen have it with you.
