Enjoy lake country living in this charming vintage home just steps from fabulous Pewaukee Lake. Approximately 15 miles west of Milwaukee and 60 miles east of Madison, this location offers the best of city and country. The sunsets over the lake are unforgettable! The entire house is yours. There are three small bedrooms, a full kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms. A lovely deck with lake views, attached garage and finished basement with an antique pool table. The house has central heat and window air conditioning--but with windows on all sides plus the lake breeze, you may not need them. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dishes. There is a gas grill on the deck. Triple osmosis filtered water and ice maker in fridge. There is a basement laundry room with front loader washer and an ironing station. I live in Chicago and my sister is the property manager. She lives nearby, should a guest need assistance. Walk across the street to three popular bar/restaurants; one offers a boat launch. Pewaukee Lake is well-known for fishing, sailing and boating. Most people drive, but walking and biking are other great ways to get around. There is an outstanding cycling trail that you can hop on less than a block away! We are very happy that Pewaukee now has Uber service for those occasions when you prefer to be a passenger.
