Rural idyll close to town, beach, and mountains!

Our self-contained two bedroom apartment is on the outskirts of a medieval town, nestled in a stunning hilltop setting, with its patchwork of olive groves, vineyards, wheat fields and sunflowers. The apartment is fully equipped. It is spacious, light and airy. There are two adjoining double bedrooms, a bathroom, and a large living/dining room. There is plenty of outdoor space - with stunning views - for alfresco dining and children's games. We live next door. We are both from the local area, and have two grown-up daughters who are away at university. We work full time but are around most evenings and are always at the other end of the phone if needs be. We have two child friendly dogs and various cats. We are very much aware of the fact that guests value their privacy. We also realize however that some guests might appreciate the opportunity to experience authentic rural Italian family life. As such, if you'd like to join us for dinner we'd be happy to have you. The location offers peace and quiet, with stunning rural vistas, but is only an easy 10 minute walk from the local town. Beautiful Blue Flag beaches are only 20 minutes by car, and the Sibilini Mountains are 40 minutes by car. There are literally heaps of places to visit locally, daytime or evening. Ascoli Piceno, the capital of the province, is an absolute must, with its breathtaking architecture, built almost entirely in travertine stone.
