Beautiful Apartment, Vouliagmeni, Athens S. Coast

60 square meter first floor apartment, situated in a quiet green area. It is fully equipped, and can accommodate up to 4 people with the use of the pull out sofa which becomes big and comfortable bed. You will thoroughly enjoy the stylish and open area modern kitchen and big living room with a SmartTV; big balcony with the view into a beautiful garden with pine trees, the tranquil bedroom, and the closeness (3-4min walking distance) to the beach, supermarket, restaurants, bars & coffee shops. Recently stylishly refurnished and fully equipped apartment, in a quiet family building with a huge green garden with pine trees. It is situated in one of the most desirable areas to live in Athens known as the ‘gold coast of Athens’. Quiet, without many tourists (as very few hotels in the area) green area, with close proximity (3-4 min walking distance) to the coast and range of amenities and activities, and quality restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The whole apartment, balcony, garden, and the terrace of the building for incredible sunset view and cocktails. Available any time for phone, text and email. I am not in Athens regularly, but there is a host/ cleaner near by and available should it be needed. The apartment is based on the south coast of Athens, in a beautiful and tranquil area of Vouliagmeni. Perfect for providing quietness and rest, with an organised and recently modernised beach with beautiful shores and beach sports and activities, and plenty more hidden and less known small beaches and shores at the doorstep; also allows for active style holidays, with a wide range of water sports (waterski, windsurfing, diving, snorkelling, and sailing - with schools available in each category), swimming, cycling, gym facilities, amazing coastal scenery walks and run, all available in close proximity (5-10 minutes walking distance). Important to mention are the well known and near by Vouliagmeni Lake (6-7 min walking distance) which maintains the temperature of 24 celsius all around the year, but also miles of long and incredible coastal scenery and clear blue waters. There is a plethora of near by restaurants, bars, coffee shops, funky clubs and pubs, bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, market for fresh fruits and vegetables, beauty and massage saloon, gym and general hospital; and sailing, water ski, diving and windsurf schools, paddle boating, tennis and beach volleyball, horse riding, cycling clubs, all at a walking distance of 5-10 minutes, and many of the near by open air live events like music concerts, open air cinema and theatre, and last but not least - fabulous shopping in the near by lively Glyfada area with its stylish and fashionable shops and bars area, and in the outlet based near the airport, check it out! Additionally to Vouliagmeni and near by suburbs, not be missed are the famous and buzzing Plaka, Thisio and Monastiraki square in Athens downtown, with its’ famous cosy tavernas, tiny streets and market, and of course - the world famous ancient site Acropolis. When more serenity is needed, you can visit the near by islands - Aegina, Tzia, Paros and Idra (all between 1-2 hours away from Athens), and plethora of other islands; there are about 2000 islands in total in Greece). And lastly, I would not want to forget to mention the near by ancient sites like Sunion (Poseidon Temple), and Delphi. So, there is a bit of everything, for everyone's taste - variety and fun at every corner! All activities and beaches are at a walking distance of 5 -15 minutes. It takes about 25 - 30 minutes drive to the centre of Athens outside of peak hours, and about 20 - 25 minutes drive to the airport. There is plenty of choice regarding your transport if you are not that keen on walking, with high number of car rental companies and public transport in a way of buses, trams, metro and yellow taxi easily at reach - bus station (bus N 122), and taxi station are 5 minutes walking distance from my apartment; additionally, there are online taxi companies available - Beat and Uber (both use Apps so you would need to download them; Beat is Greek taxi App similar to Uber). Essentials: I provide fresh linen and towels. The iron and ironing board can be found in the bedroom wardrobe. Hair dryer and toiletries can be found in the bathroom. WIFI is Available Bedroom / Sleeping arrangements: The apartment is professionally cleaned before / after each guest. Fresh linen is provided. If additional sleeping is required, you can use the pullout sofa bed in the lounge area (spare linen provided). Kitchen facilities: The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook your own meals with a fresh local produce if you fancy it! Having a relaxed breakfast on the balcony might be a good idea too! For coffee lovers, there is a Nespresso coffee machine. Some capsules might be provided (apologies, I am at the apartment infrequently so unable to top-up supplies after each guest), but you can get these from a local supermarket, or you could bring some with you. Balcony: Enjoy the view from the comfort of the apartment! A set of outdoor furniture comprising of an extendable table and four reclining chairs is provided for your enjoyment and convenience. The long grey (and very comfortable!) cushions left on the lounge sofa are for the balcony chairs – feel free to use them! TV: With so much to do out and about, you’re unlikely to spend much time watching TV; however, if you wish to do so, there is a modern flatscreen TV in the apartment. (you can use Netfilx, Amazon Prime Fire Stick etc). NB There is a folder in the apartment with all the detailed information on the flat use and things to do/ places to go for food and drink, activities and other information.
