Visit the heart of Southern Italy, staying on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea in gorgeous Belvedere Marittimo. Our apartment has two large bedrooms (one with a private balcony), kitchen, bath and a huge great room with two balcony entrances. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms and great room help keep you cool during the hot summer months. You'll be just a few hundred meters from beaches, and short walking distance to down town and the boardwalk. Our apartment has large 2-bedrooms and large bathroom separated from the great room and kitchen by a large and wide hallway. The master bedroom has its own private balcony, a king sized new bed (180x200cm), and a large armoire for all of your clothes. The second bedroom has two brand new twin-beds (90x200cm each) that can be attached to form a single king-sized bed -- as well as its own armoire for your stuff. The kitchen is fully functional and comes with a gas stove, sink, and empty refrigerator. The fridge will be plugged in and cold when you arrive. Access to the balcony is also provided from the kitchen directly. The large living room functions as both a dining room, living room and optionally additional guest quarters. The new couch folds out into a full queen sized bed, while still keeping the rest of the living room usable by your group. The living room includes a dining area, and a couch/tv area. A 32" LCD TV is included along with an AppleTV. You can easily stream movies over the wireless network from your iPad/iPhone to the TV. There are also some nice speakers in the living room if you'd like to play music during the day. Fast wireless internet is also provided, allowing you to stream movies from your favorite streaming services (Netflix, etc) if you bring an appropriate streaming device. I recommend the (Hidden by Airbnb) Chromecast devices as a simple and cheap streaming tool. The entire apartment is available to you during your stay -- with the exception of the pantry by the front door, which will remain locked and houses the owners personal stuff. Parking is available in a first-come basis -- but there are always spaces available. We will be available during your stay -- just reach out to us via email or a phone call (our phone number will be sent to you after booking). Our family lives in the apartment across the hall, so they are available if any help is needed that we cannot provide over the phone. The apartment sits right on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea -- literally just a two minute walk from the beach. While most of the year Belvedere is a sleepy beach town that caters to vacationers, there are a few notable exceptions. Every year in July there is a huge fireworks show over the ocean thats synchronized to music. Also for those fans of the Giro d'Italia -- it rides right through the town and by our our apartment! You can have a view of both these events right from our balcony! Frequently Asked Questions: *Beach Access* The access to the beaches in Belvedere is free. Access to the nearest beach is 350 meters from the apartment. There are several beach resorts that operate in the summer months where you can reserve lettine and umbrella. You can find several options on the Waterfront (10 min walk) to the south of the apartment, and there is at least one near the access to the apartment's north beach (6 minute walk). There are lines and clips for line-drying your clothes in the warm summer sun. *Air Conditioning* There is no air conditioning in the apartment -- but there are ceiling fans in each bedroom and the living room. These fans should keep you plenty cool during even the hottest summer weeks. *Cleaning Costs* There is a cleaning cost built into the Airbnb booking fee -- its about $60 and covers cleaning the apartment when you leave. *Parking* There is a dedicated parking area for the building, but no private or dedicated spaces. Parking is first come first serve, but there is almost always a space available. *Gas/Electricity/Water* All utilities are included in the cost of the rental. You do not need to worry about any additional costs!
