Our quaint little house is tucked away in the lanes of Chengamanad, Kochi. Run by a veteran army officer, the house is perfect for those who like the quiet of nature and a private space that they can call home. Surrounded by trees, our favourite spot is the fountain-led porch, this is also where our resident Cockatiels and fish stay. Completely run on salar energy, our house leaves no carbon footprints. 2 rooms with attached bathrooms, a dining space with an open kitchen, a big terrace to host lovely dinners, and a small porch to take in fresh air - a compact space for an intimate group of people. Indira chechi will be your best friend! She is a fantastic cook and will serve you the best Malayali cuisine you have ever tried! Psst... her appam and meen curry is out of the world! We strongly recommend that you eat your meals with us :) You have complete access to our garden kitchen, a few meters away from the property. You can pick out green chillies, and other seasonal vegetables and cook yourself a nadaan mallu meal! Feel free to feed our cockatiels - Popo, Kiki and, Podi mol and drop in an occasional grub to our fish :) We are a very social couple! Being ex-army, we love the “get-togethers” and are available for any of your requirements. We know the city in and out and can try and help traveller’s issues like how to book cabs, where to go, places close by, restaurant recommendations and so on. We are only a call away :) Quiet neighbourhood. If you are particularly allergic or aversive, then do let us know at the time of booking and we will ensure the house is pest controlled!
