Treat yourself to a taste of country life. Relax in our beautifully appointed two-bedroom suite in a tranquil rural setting. Just minutes from shops, restaurants and amenities but a world away from the hustle and bustle. Please note that parties and events are not permitted. Please leave shoes at the bottom of the stairs. Your suite is the entire second floor of our home (100+ square m). It’s completely separate from the rest of the house and has it’s own private entrance. The large master bedroom (with super king bed) has a spacious adjoining lounge, business desk and a secluded balcony overlooking acres of farmland, horses, sheep, cattle and bird life. There’s a second bedroom with two single beds (perfect for a family or couples), a full bathroom (no bathtub), separate toilet and completely functional kitchenette (no oven or stove top). This is particularly important if you are checking in at night and English is NOT your first language and or you are arriving from overseas. Our home is located at the end of a beautiful poplar-lined rural driveway, set hundreds of metres back from the road so it's quiet and wonderfully private. There's separate parking big enough for several cars (or a motorhome), and you'll have your own door key to come and go as you like through the private main entrance. We're very well travelled and love to meet new people. However we totally appreciate that sometimes you want to just do your own thing. If that's the case, you're welcome to do so without ever having to interact with anyone else. If you're here for business, our home is close to Manukau, Wiri, Franklin County and the Papakura District. For international travelers, we're close the airport and, being in the south of Auckland, our place is the ideal gateway to the Waikato, Waitomo, Coromandel, Hobbiton and Rotorua. You might bump into them around the property, but mostly they are restricted to the house as the older one once wandered onto the main road after we tragically lost our beautiful labrador two years ago. Needless to say the fear of losing Peaches means we are vigilant with keeping doors and gates closed :(
