Cosy vierdaagse home with garden near river/centre

We'd love to rent out our home to a group of sporty walkers during the Nijmegen four days marches in July 2018. We're hoping 4 people can make it their safe haven whilst enjoying their time in the lovely city of Nijmegen. I would describe our house as characteristic, cosy and historic, it was built in 1911. It's cool in the summer because of its solid walls, but if you are a sun seeker, our garden is great for tanning and the river is a stone's throw away. Feel welcome to use our house as if it were your own, on street parking is free of charge and you will also be allowed to use our storage shed for bike parking. Nijmegen is best experienced by bike, especially after a gruelling day of walking. We've made a deal with our friend who rents out bicycles, his company is situated on 2 mins walk from the house. So we'll be able to hook you up with some bikes for a small fee. Supermarket is 5 mins away, buzzing, hip and cultural centre Honig complex is on our doorstep, great for eating out and drinking cold locally brewed beers. :-) Guests can access everything, use our washing machine, chill in the garden, air their shoes... The house is yours. We obviously do expect you will show respect for our property and belongings, we're especially very protective over our veggie patch and flower beds. We'll be at your disposal for whatever help/tips/company you might require. Residential area, close to city centre but quiet enough to enjoy a good night's sleep. bike, car, by foot, swim in the river. Nijmegen is a lovely city which completely transforms each year during the third week of July when millions of visitors from all over the world find their way to our beautiful town to enjoy two events: 'de vierdaagse' (a walking event in which 50 000 people walk 40 to 50 km a day in four consecutive days) and the 'zomerfeesten' (the marches are accompanied by an all-over-town explosion of day and night happiness, food and parties.) It's because of the lack of accommodation in Nijmegen during this week that we have decided to rent our house out.
