A beautifully refurbished home within walking distance of the historic and well served village of Verteuil sur Charente. The old market town of Ruffec is 5km away with a variety of individual shops and a twice weekly market selling local fresh produce. Within 5km there is horse riding, kayaking, forest walks and cycle tracks. Slightly further afield there are the cities of Angouleme, Poitiers and the coastal town of La Rochelle. Prices are per room Fiona and John offer everyone a warm welcome! Both B&B rooms are on the first floor. Beds in both rooms are double with quality mattresses, and there are wardrobes and drawers, bedside tables and mirrors. A Mothercare travel cot, mattress, bedding and childs booster seat are available if required. Both B&B bedrooms are upstairs and share a shower room with wash basin and WC. Towels are provided as well as coffee and tea making facilities. Guests may also use the extensive garden, sun loungers, tables and chairs as well as the 8m by 5m pool. We're happy to leave guests alone if they prefer, but will always be on hand if needed for advice and local knowledge. Verteuil sur Charente is in the rural region of Poitou Charente but has nearby transport links via road, rail and air to the rest of France. It is a truly stunning village! Our home is less than 3km from the main N10 and 5km to the nearest train station. We have two friendly and well behaved female whippets (who don't go upstairs!)
