Stone house with sea view

One of three houses at a private field, fifty steps above the center of Mandraki with view of the island and the sea. The house was entirely rebuilt from the foundations of an old traditional stone house and the interior structure and arches were restored according to the original design with high quality materials and respect for the environment. The inside area has a big living room, fireplace and kitchen. The double bed is in a cozy nook lifted 2 steps above and there is a bathroom with a shower. It is decorated with unique furnishing, carefully collected vintage objects and attention to detail. Especially the doors and locks have been constructed with inspiration from traditional woodwork. The house is located on a central but peaceful location, as part of a private land plot, which is planted with trees and crops. There are two more houses in the same plot with similar architecture that share the garden as well as a laundry room with all the essentials for your stay. Our guests also have access to the private field and garden that surrounds the house, which is cultivated and has an incredible view towards the main island and the sea, as well as a small private church. At the other side of the field, there is also a small chicken coop. We are always available to help our guests and facilitate them with their luggage or offer suggestions for their stay on the island. The house is on the top of the street on a very quiet spot but still 2 minutes from the main square of Mandraki, where there is a bar, cafes and restaurants. The closest beach, Hohlakoi and the main church, Panagia Spiliani, are both at 10 min distance on foot. Everything in Mandraki is on walk distance and you can rent a bike, moto or car to move on the island. There are also several buses during the day for the beaches and 1 taxi. Moreover, we provide bread with butter, honey and jam, tea, Nespresso coffee capsules & machine and if we have fresh eggs (from our chicken!). The house has a ceiling fan.
