Kitchen is well equiped with basic pantry essentials, coffee, tea, and milk provided. The kitchen, dining and lounge room have beautiful views down the valley. Every season brings a different colour palette! Each bedroom is equipped with comfortable beds, quality linen, side tables, lamps and portable fans. The bathroom has a shower/bath with a practical vanity and separate toilet. The lounge room has comfortable furniture and large TV. Clunes has a true village vibe to it and is an easy walk from The Hill House at Clunes. From the pub, to the cafes, to The Criterion Cafe, to the local pool (open during Summer months) to the IGA that has a great selection of groceries, deli items and bottle shop. The township is rich in gold rush history with many films and television shows being filmed here. An easy drive from Melbourne, The Hill House at Clunes is a perfect destination for a relaxed weekend away. An easy 10 minute walk to the township of Clunes or a 2 minute drive. We are a unique property and there are special instructions regarding our composting worm toilet (looks and acts like a normal toilet though) and considerate use of tank water.
