Wikkelboat's smart interior offers you great comfort with good airco & heating. Public transport is just a step away and you can use a luxurious Spa for free, same for the 2 electric bikes. Optional services are (inter)continental breakfast, lunch & boating. "Wikkelen" is the Dutch word for wrapping; this boathouse (33m2) is mainly made of wrapped cardboard and it's loaded with luxury facilities. At the front side of the Wikkelboat a terrace of 6x3m2 is located, with a bistroset seating 4, seats to enjoy the view on the White House or to just jump into the water. And best of all: you can use the luxurious terrace-built-in Spa for free! You'll definitely enjoy the tranquillity at the water while being in the city heart of Rotterdam..and you won't notice it from the noise...the house is also well isolated! It's also equipped with a great airco, heating & ventilation system, a small kitchen, a cool BarrelQ-BBQ outside and has a small but practical bathroom. When convenient, check-in or after check-out you can leave your luggage at the neighboring Ibis hotel. The Wikkelboat consists of two separate private entries with a wall with glass door & curtains in between. It has a front seat so 1 adult or 2 kids can sit on the front as welll Jelle & Sander are happy neighbors in the Red Apple so if you need any help or advice they 're more than happy to come around! The Maritime District is the most beautiful area of Rotterdam; it has it all: musea (Maritiem Museum, Mariniersmuseum & Comics Museum), loads of ho(s)tels, many highraise buildings and great restaurants. The area is very safe, peaceful and quiet at streetlevel. All public transport is just around the corner, at station Blaak. Here you'll find buses, tubes, trains and trams. For example, from here to Schiphol is only 30minutes by train! Alternatively take a private rental boat with shipper - we can arrange - or take the watertaxi to get you around Rotterdam by water. Please be aware of the neighboring water as there are no fences to prevent falling into the water.
