Welcome to “Largs Living”, whether you’re visiting Adelaide for the first time or coming home to visit friends and family, this Airbnb is located North of the CBD and close to Port Adelaide. When you walk out the front gate of the building you’ll be spoilt for choice with an amazing cafe next door, pub across the road with the beach and parks less than 200m away. If you’re into running and exercise, then get involved in Parkrun on the weekends or chill out where Cold Chisel used to perform back in the day, at the Largs Pier Hotel directly opposite, with a cold drink and watch the world go by as you relax or socialise with friends and family. Bedrooms: Bedrooms 1 - Is located to the right upon the entrance and hosts a comfortable queen size bed with bedside tables, ceiling fan and drawer storage. Bedroom 2 - Opposite the hall, fits a large bunk bed with a single mattress on top and a queen-size bed on the bottom. This room also has drawer storage, a ceiling fan and 55" TV (Not a smart TV) Living Room: Guests can chill out on the two, 2.5 seater leather couches, in front of the 58” JVC smart TV. On a hot day, wind down in front of the air conditioner and watch your favourite Netflix shows until it’s time to hit the beach or the pub later in the afternoon! Kitchen/Balcony: The unit is equipped with a fully functioning kitchenette and all the basic appliances and amenities you’d expect at an Airbnb. There’s a large fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle & toaster with draws full of cutlery and kitchen utilities. Bathroom: The bathroom is shared and located at the back of the unit with a large shower recess, vanity, sink and toilet. Laundry: Near the bathroom, there is a washing machine and tumble dryer free for guests to use throughout their stay. A few laundry pods will be provided to help you do a load of washing, longer-term guests will need to source their own supplies. Transport from Airport: - 20-25 mins (depending on traffic) by rideshare (around $20-$40 dollars) - Public transport from Adelaide Airport takes about (1 h 15 min). From Stop 10 at Adelaide Airport take J1 or J2. Stop D3 Currie St - Northside. Walk to Adelaide Railway Station and take line OUTHA Outer Harbour to Largs Bay Station and walk about 8 minutes to the Airbnb. Parking: Free street parking is available out the front of Airbnb. Please always refer to the street signs as some sections are limited and may incur a fine. Heating/Cooling: Throughout all the seasons, you’ll always feel comfortable at Largs Living with a reverse cycle system pumping hot or cold air into the main living area. The bedrooms host ceiling fans which can help circulate cool or hot air throughout the house. Simple instructions will be provided within the guest guide. Baby Essentials: We recommend any families travelling with babies or small children bring their own baby sheets. With enough notice we may be able to provide a port-a-cot and highchair otherwise guests will need to organise on their own. If we’re able to accommodate in any way please let us know. Guests will have access to the entire property I like to let guests self-check-in and enjoy their stay in private, I am always contactable and responsive via Airbnb app or by phone. For anything urgent, I can attend in person if needed. Largs bay is bounded to the north by Walcot and Warwick Street, to the south by Wills, Hargrave and Union Streets and in the west and east by Gulf St Vincent and the centre of the Port River respectively. It is adjacent to the suburbs of Largs North, Peterhead, Port Adelaide and Semaphore. It is essentially a residential suburb, with a minor harbourside presence on the eastern side of the suburb. It is located within the local government area of the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. Largs Bay originally started as a private sub-division in Section 1069 in the cadastral unit of the Hundred of Port Adelaide. The name was “formally submitted by the City of Port Adelaide at a council meeting held on 10 May 1945” and was formally adopted in 1951 by the Nomenclature Committee. In August 2009, its eastern boundary was extended to the centre of the Port River Adelaide has plenty of options (buses, trains and trams) to get you around town, across the city and into the suburbs. The house is fitted with a security system and the alarm will need to be deactivated with the remote upon entry. Unit 2 is also used as an Airbnb so you may see other guests come and go via the same entry and exit.
