Close to the historic city of Lancaster and within an hours drive away from the Lake District and the Yorkshire dales the cottage is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy scenic North Lancashire at its best. A self catered cottage presented to a high standard throughout. NO SMOKING. Smart TV in the lounge. Modern fitted kitchen. Modern bathroom. Patio to rear with outdoor furniture. Dogs welcome with responsible owner (all mess removed and dogs NOT left unattended at any time). Close to village pub for eating out. Entire cottage and garden Access is self check in using key safe. There are 2 friendly pubs in the village with both serving food. There is a village shop and chemist. Bus route to Lancaster/Ingleton/Kirkby Lonsdale. Cycle track to Lancaster alongside the River Lune (this is a couple of minutes cycle from the cottage). Scenic walks alongside the River Lune. Within an hours drive of Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Blackpool. Lovely views across village sports field towards Lune Valley and Yorkshire Dales. Caton is within the Forest of Bowland which is officially recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. **COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS** We are now able to take bookings for leisure purposes.
